The Teacher Training in yoga and mindfulness for youth focuses on developing the skills to engage, inspire and connect with teens through yoga. It is created from a system of relevant, comprehensive modules that explore the major areas of yogic tools and practices.
Learn to empower teens and help them connect to who they are. Create age-appropriate classes, sequences, games, creative activities and reflections that captivate and inspire teens to want to jump on their mat each week to have fun and relax at the same time.
Yoga Benefits for Teenagers
This training offers insights into the teenage mind and gives you a solid foundation of knowledge, tools and confidence to share. These tools can be taken directly off the mat and applied to the daily lives of teens to support them to manage stress, anger, depression, anxiety and other common challenges. You will be able to help teenagers to navigate the challenging transition to adulthood by showing them sustainable coping mechanisms through yoga. It is essential to recognise the importance of building emotional resilience, mental health and wellbeing.
