This Meditation teacher training guided by Swami Muktibodhananda Saraswati will introduce practical, easy-to-teach techniques that will include mudra and mantra to assist in quieting the mind.
Trainees learn safe sequencing (grounding before/after energetic work), clear cueing for posture and breath, modifications for beginners or those with trauma/medical concerns, and how to explain the experiential and ethical aspects of working with chakras so sessions remain accessible, consensual, and stabilising for the participants. Both training sessions include theory and practise.

Muktibodhānanda (Mukti) Saraswati
I found yoga in 1972 as an adjunct to classical ballet and very quickly realised that the major benefits of yoga for me were at an emotional and psychological level. I was fortunate to meet Paramahansa Swami Satyānanda in 1976 at the Sydney World Yoga Convention. And, therefore, I travelled to India to study under his direct guidance. I lived at the Bihār School of Yoga, Munger, for 10 years as a yogi and taught classical Hatha yoga, Kriya yoga, Tattwa Shuddhi meditation and Swara yoga there. During this time, I also authored ‘Swara Yoga, the Tantric Science of Brain Breathing’ and commentaries on ‘Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā, the Light on Hatha Yoga’, the C15 AD Sanskrit text by Yogi Swātmarāma. Both of these books are Bihar School of Yoga publications. In 1986 I had to leave India and return to Australia, where my base has been ever since.
In 1993, Paramahansa Swāmi Niranjanānanda gave me the title of Yogācharya, master of yoga.
I have continued learning about mind and self in various ways and I studied Choice Theory with the William Glasser Institute Australia (WGIA) as the principles and methods of understanding yourself through Reality Theory are analogous with yoga. I am also a Chakra-puncture and Integrated Reflexology practitioner and use bio resonance scanning with the Solex AO scanner to assist in relieving physical and emotional pain by naturally dissolving the negative tendencies of the mind and body. For me yoga practice is the foundation of health and various other health modalities are supported when you practise a regular yoga regime.
I have travelled to various places throughout Australia, Singapore, Hungary, USA and Canada teaching many aspects of yoga to small and large groups of enthusiastic yoga practitioners. Today, I continue to teach in Brisbane and hold a yearly retreat in Vancouver, BC.
