Are you seeking calmness, peace of mind, joy, vibrant health, greater energy, positive relationships and fulfillment in life? Do you wish to be stress-free and worry-free?

You can enjoy all these benefits and much more, with meditation. Meditation offers innumerable benefits for your body, mind and spirit. The rest you gain in meditation is deeper than the deepest sleep. The deeper your rest, the more dynamic your activity is.

Join Miriam for an insightful 6-week course exploring how with easy and practical meditation techniques you can cope better with stress and improve your physical and mental well-being. Meditation will help you develop clarity and wisdom, gaining a greater understanding of life. You can experience inner peace and lasting happiness by reawakening your natural spiritual consciousness. We’re sure you’ll agree that less worry, less stress and more spaciousness is a goal worth pursuing.

De-stress with Meditation

Meditation has two important benefits:

  • Meditation prevents stress from getting into the system
  • Meditation releases accumulated stress that is in the system

Both of these happen simultaneously, leaving one refreshed and joyful.

Physical Benefits of Meditation

With meditation, the physiology undergoes a change and every cell in the body is filled with more prana (energy). This results in joy, peace, enthusiasm as the level of prana in the body increases.

On a physical level, meditation:

  • Lowers high blood pressure
  • Lowers the levels of blood lactate, reducing anxiety attacks
  • Decreases any tension-related pain, such as, tension headaches, ulcers, insomnia, muscle and joint problems
  • Increases serotonin production that improves mood and behavior
  • Improves the immune system
  • Increases the energy level, as you gain an inner source of energy

Mental Benefits of Meditation

Meditation brings the brainwave pattern into an Alpha state that promotes healing. The mind becomes fresh, delicate and beautiful. With regular practice of meditation:

  • Anxiety decreases
  • Emotional stability improves
  • Creativity increases
  • Happiness increases
  • Intuition develops
  • Gain clarity and peace of mind
  • Problems become smaller
  • Meditation sharpens the mind by gaining focus and expands through relaxation
  • A sharp mind without expansion causes tension, anger and frustration
  • An expanded consciousness without sharpness can lead to lack of action/progress
  • The balance of a sharp mind and an expanded consciousness brings perfection

Meditation makes you aware that your inner attitude determines your happiness.

How to get the benefits

To experience the benefits of meditation, regular practice is necessary. It takes only a few minutes every day. Once imbibed into the daily routine, meditation becomes the best part of your day!

Meditation is like a seed. When you cultivate a seed with love, the more it blossoms. Similarly, the sapling of consciousness is within you. It needs to be nurtured with simple meditation techniques. Some palm trees yield in three years, some in ten years. And those that aren’t nurtured – never yield! They simply exist.

Who is going

Anyone wanting to cultivate the tools to help you meditate to release stress and improve your physical and mental well-being.

This 6 week course will include teachings, discussion on meditation.  Please dress comfortably, and bring a pen.  Mats and props are provided, however feel free to bring your own mat, blanket, bolster, eye pillow and anything else you require to be comfortable.

Yoga & Personal Development Workshop

Slide1

When: Saturday 12-2:30pm 7 Feb

Where: One Family Yoga & Fitness, 105 Seville Road, Holland Park

Price: $85 One Family Members

$97 Non Members

Join Michelle Rose, creator of Rose Yoga Personal Development for a fun and informative afternoon of creative yoga and self-investigation.

Enjoy an hour of Rose Yoga which is a challenging and fun yoga style that moves you out of your left brain thinking mind and into your right brain inner wisdom, through 3 stages:

Connect, Evolve and Restore.

Michelle will then teach you the easy to use 4 step system she created:

‘Review, Re-balance, Replace & Results’.

This system allows you to find any imbalanced past memories you are storing that are trapping you in limiting and repetitive bodily ailments, injuries, illnesses, bad habits, relationship stress and career & finance blocks. You will then learn how to liberate yourself from these constraints by re-balancing the memories so you can then create exactly what you want to experience in all areas of your life.

As often mentioned in Michelle’s daily Facebook & Instagram posts, all signs of struggle in any area of your life, be it your skin, body shape, financial or love life, are due to your Yin channel being shut down to some degree. Michelle will explain what this means and why opening your Yin channel up is how she managed to turn around every area of her own life since 2010.  In this workshop you will learn how to move out of excessive left brain Yang and tap into your right brain Yin so you start to receive more love, appreciation, support, money and opportunities.

The difference between ROSE Yoga Personal Development and other typical therapies or coaching styles is that most only address one side of the brain, the logical (left brain) or the emotional (right brain), which is why change is often only temporary. So in this workshop you will learn how to release any limitation trapped in your left & right brain together so that the change is permanent, leaving you balanced and empowered with the knowledge of how to move from being stuck in confusion & frustration into clarity & change.

To secure your spot simply pay into the bank account below and send Michelle your payment confirmation to: michelle@roseyoga.com.au so she can then email you the documents for the workshop.

BANK DETAILS for payment:

National Australia Bank

SFH Personal Development

BSB: 082001

Acc No: 129811744

Following the workshop you will be sent free video tutorials of how to use the system for your specific areas of concern as well as a discounted offer on the ROSE Yoga Personal Development private coaching packages.

Facilitator:

_TMP6338Co-Founder and principle teacher at One Family Yoga & Fitness, Lainie believes that it is important to let go of the identities that we take on in the world (Mother, Yogi, Father, Sister accountant etc) while on the mat. It is a time to strengthen the body from the inside out through Ayurveda (science of Life), Asana (Posture), to connect to the breath to open the body through conscious breathing (Pranayama) to calm the mind with Meditation. Time for self. Lainie teaches to the individual, she guides you gently in and out of each pose regardless of your experience with yoga so that you always feel, comfortable, confident and successful.

Lainie’s interest in movement began as a dancer and she was later certified as an International Les Mills Trainer and Presenter and Pilates Instructor. After 20 years in this world, these interests led her towards yoga.
